When someone tells you that sarcasm will get you nowhere, don’t believe them. It will get somewhere, and that somewhere is on the wrong side of a meaningful connection in business communication.
Rather than using sarcasm, practice connecting with the truth. Examine the root of the sarcasm, and address that topic. If you have a real concern, your coworkers or boss will be more open to listen if they can trust the mode of communication.
