A quick reminder from a team session where people felt they had to be one way or fake.
Yes, we can be fake – and we can show up in various ways and be genuine/authentic in all of them. We speak differently to a lost child in the grocery store than to a mentor at the office.

Yes, your voice can sound different with different people in different situations, and they can all be authentically really you.
Same with words, body language, etc.

It may seem like an obvious reminder, and I’ve found myself reassuring folks that yes, all their different communication styles can be authentic, and all can be “them.” We are fabulously multifaceted and flexible.
