Your voice is designed to flow without undo strain or stress.

If it feels as if it’s hard to make your voice carry or it gets tight or caught in your throat, you may have unnecessary tension interfering.

Here is one image that can remind you to release it: Your voice rides on the exhale like a surfer. It needs a flow of air like a surfer needs the wave.   Too little air and the words can’t surf – the words get caught in the throat and have trouble flowing out.

Let your breath flow, the vibrations of your words are released and share your voice out with the world.
